FROM LISBON:

Exit Lisbon taking the A2 south. Exit to A6 (Évora), take the exit to Montemor. Arrive in Montemor, take the N2 towards Mora. Pass by Mora, continue along the N2 towards Ponte de Sôr and turn right to Cabeção. Arrive in Cabeção and continue to Aldeia Velha, pass by Aldeia Velha and turn right on the first junction to Avis.

At this point you can already catch sight of Monte Novo on your right-hand side.
